Forever and a Minute

That one moment stays forever ingrained into my mind. I think of all the other things I should have said that were kind.  My body was went limp I didn’t know what to do.  Every few seconds I would try to steal a glance at you.  I felt as though it turned 100 degrees hotter, And I got the impression that I was a persistent bother.  Although it was only one minute long it felt like time without end  All I desired for was that you could go back and be my friend.  That one moment stays forever ingrained into my mind.  I wish earnestly somehow we could just rewind.  Maybe one day you will forgive me and our friendship I can attain, But until then I will patiently wait and try hard not to complain.
