Forever Friends

To my dearest best friend,

People don't expect a guy and a girl to "just" be friends.

When it comes to us, the rule bends.

We understand eachother like a well-known riddle.

From the outside, to the middle.

My life wouldn't be the same without you.

The way you impact it, you have no clue.

The trust that has been built can't be denied.

I know that you are always by my side.

With just a simple smirk, you make me explode with laughter.

We notice people staring moments after.

We can be complete weirdos without any shame,

Because together we can't be tame.

Sometimes no words need to be said.

We both understand with a nod of the head.

We have made each other better versions of ourselves.

We have loads of memories on the shelves.

I am confident that we will be in each other's lives forever

That is, in fact, our biggest endeavor.

Our friendship can most certainly be described as awesome.

We have witnessed each other blossom.

The way we interact is so unique.
