Forever Glad
Only a pure heart could take on the experience of feeling unloved
Only a pure heart could uncover the truth
Only an old soul would have the strength to survive the neglect a child goes through
Man knows not the trials he subjects himself
Only his soul controls that
Only a spirit bigger than form could bring a lost soul back;
To build a stronger structure better suited to our needs
Rooted in the principles fairness and dignity
Where the burdens of our elders are given justice through our gifts
The secrets they pass on with and the history they lived
The heartache and the sorrow they kept buried with the shame
Will not be how the story ends we can transmute the pain
By rising strong in brotherhood, using what we have
So when we pass and meet again we'll be forever glad
