Forever It Seems

You still can’t decide what it is that makes you

Feel this way. You sit in your room alone looking

For encouragement in all the places you know deep

Inside you won’t ever find them. You contemplate

Your sins and the sins of everyone you love or did

Love at one point and you can’t help but ask yourself,

“Is it really worth it?”

So that’s the question you keep in the back of your

Mind as you painstakingly fight through each day, just

Looking for something to keep you sane. But it seems

Like all anyone can do anymore is let you down. The

People closest to you, the people you love, and the

People you look up to. It’s a never ending, vicious circle

Of disappointment and you’ve reached your breaking

Point. So as you stand at the edge of that cliff and look

Down into what seems like forever, you take a deep

Breath before you answer that nagging, lingering

Question.
