Forever Loved

A blood red rose for you to behold

Your angry stomp and glare

My, how your gaze is ice cold

But I let my soul flare

You told me you would think

I turned around in dismay

Then you gave me a wink

I couldn’t help but yell, hurray!

I saw you the very next day

You had a rose in your hair

Then you glowed over and said hey

I jumped from excitement hoping that you would care

I hope our love is long

We shall grow very strong
