Forever With Me

Dear Granny,

Its been a while since you held me in your arms

Long nights of me crying

You holding me so tight, was the only comfort I needed

I remember as a child

Even when I didn’t want to listen

Even when I felt like I let you down

You made sure that I felt like I was supposed to be here

When my life began to slip through the cracks

I would call you being so irrational

You felt my pain

No matter how hard I tried to hide it

You always knew when something was wrong

Granny, you are my everything

The reason why I gotta keep going

I’m am so grateful to have you in my life

It could be so dark, but I promise you, you are my light

I can’t thank you enough
