Forever Remembered, Forever a Goodbye

I take a step forward and all i hear is an echo An echo of my pain the echo of the silence you left behind You left me all alone With this empty place This broken heart and mess of tears I race from room to room Each step, crushing another part of me Praying and hoping That I somehow find you If I found you it was a dream You are gone forever This world was too cruel to you And you replied with Goodbye People talk, and people whisper All saying the same kies They'll never know the truth But I was there for it all You were lost and lonely No one took the time The time to say hello The time to say "I love you" You left me here Knowing the scary truth Wanting to scream out But you took away my voice The world laughed and danced Sang and played But now you're gone And the clouds prevail The pain is etched in every face The "what ifs" fly around Tears fall like rain But nothing can change what you've done Every tear that hits the floor Every sob that shatters the silence Every whispered "I love you" They're for you, as you lay in silence forever
