Forever Treasure

It's been such a long while

and yet we still are together.

I wouldn't have it any other way

for my love for you is true;

Your kiss is my treasure

which I will hold forever.

I can only wish we will have forever--

that seems like such a long while.

But with that time, we will find treasure.

Anything and everything, we can have it all together.

The work will be hard, but it's tried and true.

The path will be arduous, but with you is my only way.

For I could never bear to be away,

my heart would be broken forever.

This I hope for you to be the same, true.

Little has bothered us all this while.

I see there would be no world without us together.

You and I, the greatest treasure.

And with that treasure,

we shall find our way.

Anything can be done as long as we are together.

It isn't difficult to think about forever

when I know I will have you all the while.

We need only be true.

It's not hard to be true,

for I am your greatest treasure.

Think on it a while-

Was it better any other way?

You and I were meant to be forever

Here, there--together.

And by being together,

we find this to be true;

Not so long will be forever.

Our love is a rare treasure.

We would have it no other way.

I think I'll keep you a while.

You and I together, a priceless treasure.

We find ourselves to be true; This way,

forever is a breath and yet such an infinite while.
