Forever Was Short

Me and You

I was your love and you were my babe

Sounds cliche and cheesy but why not hun

Just a couple of kids who secretely liked the other for years

But this was not known until recent

Our image of this was better than the actual thing

You wrote a letter to yourself in five years

In which I was there

We thought this was forever

But it was definitely not
