Forever yearning.

As I reach out to my ceiling every night, your face comes into view.

Although we don’t speak often, I remember your voice so clearly.

The mere thought of you makes a lump form in my chest.

I haven’t the slightest clue why your smile makes me tear up with joy.

A love I was never meant to have makes my heart beat faster.

Am I ever so deserving of a newfound happiness?

I won’t seethe the truth, I can’t bring myself to.

I wish for your better days, mine to continue to plummet.
