Forget

In a long and blistering storm, i stood with my arms spread wide.

I had longed for forgiveness, but my heart could not forget.

Pain had become a lone friend of mine.

He fed off me like a seperant with its body clutching my neck.

Yet, It was the only warmth i would ever come to know.

and in my dreary sight i saw a time when i  had loved

then it grasps tighter against my wind pipe and i forget once again
