Forget-Me
forget-me-nots forgot me so i chose to forget too
but never will i ever forget how they smelled like you
in days they hardly woke my senses, but then came the night
their scent so powerful i couldn’t breathe i couldn’t fight
and when i think about the times i chose them over air
it makes sense now why i was dizzy, dazed and without care
i guess i always knew, that all flowers are meant to die
one shouldn’t mourn the loss but rather soften their goodbye
forget-me-nots forgot me so i chose to forget too
but never will i ever forget how they smelled like you.
