Forget not Time
The empty space within my head
That burning silence I do dread
The empty sheet in front of me
Left blank without creativity
A string of life, a single strand
I let it slip through my hands
And it will always haunt my soul
Until the last bell does toll
Time is not a simple step
So easy to understand
The world does not just sit still
In the palm of my hand
As the threads weave and connect
And move within their own realm
Changing the future soon forgot
Brittle as a wooden helm
Do not forget so easily
That which you always see
The truth fortold within your eyes
Never covered up by lies
It always moves, it always goes
The sands of time always flow
A simple mistake that I did make
Another life it did take
