Forget The Tears
Forget The Tears
With them it all happened so fast
So we took it slow,
Took control of our futures
And let your past go
You gave yourself, sometimes it was taken
Proof that we're not so dark
Just simply mistaken
Cover the scars with our words
Our muse, Our love, Our worlds
That's what we did
I made you smile to forget the tears,
Put my emotions and your perfections on paper
So you can realize you're more than you can give
And you're more than your regrets
The day you aren't
Is the day you'll find where my love ends
