forgetful (continuous haiku)

What if you lost it,

Small at first but widening

the gaps in your mind.

memories you lose

a sinking ship fulls of holes

the holes in your life

the world lost to you

maybe then you would get it

if remembering

was still an option

but It's not for my heart

haunted by this feeling

that I have lost much

but am unable to recall

anything any more

as my mind falls away

and memory fails me again

repeating words again

forgetting it all

is ruining what is left

of my tired life.
