Forgive Me

My brown eyes are wide open and my small body is tender to the touch.  I try to stand, but my legs are coursing with electric shocks, making them limp. Falling for seconds seems like hours, and the fear of paralysis makes me scream out for help. Then I realize no one is there: I am all alone in this dark, empty abyss. What did I ever do to deserve this? I apologize for all my bad deeds and pray that the lord take away this pain.
