forgive me...........

forgive me if i laugh

you are so sure of love

you are so young

and i'm too grown in learning about love.

the rain exploding

in the air is love

the grass excreting me

sky is the tranquility of peace

and stones remembering

past steps is love,

but you. you are too young

for love

and i'm too grown

once. what does it matter

when or who, i knew

of love.

i fixed my body

under mine and went

to sleep in love

all trace of me

was wiped away

forgive me if i smile

young heiress of a naked dream

you are so young

and im too grown to learn of love.

I wonder where you get your inspiration from, there seems to be new poems every time I visit your page! The older mature lover and younger idealized lover is a theme that is usually written from the infatuated view, rarely the recepient (I guess you had to make yourself clear). I do suggest that you format the poem, it can be difficult to read and I find myself stopping during a line of poetry to reallly understand your point. Charming piece. Q.V.
