Forgiven
4 years old,
Father sexually and physically,
Abuses his daughter,
My mother,
Gives him the chance,
The chance to get help,
NO,
Divorce,
Restraining order,
to young,
to know,
to testify,
No punishment,
He walks,
His family,
Don't believe,
They disown,
My life,
Down hill,
From then on,
Mother crushed,
mad,
lost,
Daddy's girl,
Becomes quiet,
shy,
afraid,
angry,
Sexual behavior,
Violent behavior,
He left,
Abandoned me,
I was sad,
obnoxious,
mad,
At the world,
At my mother,
Blamed her,
Four,
Lost my dad,
Lost my world,
Men became enticing,
The wrong path I walked,
drugs,
older men,
drinking,
pregnant,
17 years,
No apology,
No word,
No I'm sorry,
No relationship,
No fixing the past,
No fixing the mistakes,
He made,
I made,
A life,
Of promiscuous days,
confusion,
A target for men,
A child,
molested,
abandoned,
By her own,
Flesh and Blood,
But I did it,
I made it,
With the ups and downs,
The roller coasters,
tears,
fears,
confusion.
Is your heart,
Still the same,
cold,
bitter,
hateful,
Heart that it was then.
You will get what you deserve,
One day,
In some way,
But I
I am okay.
