Forgiveness

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is nothing more than just another figure of speech.
More of a lesson you're not willing to teach.
Like waves of the ocean, heading towards the beach.
The total opposite of hatred like the west is from the east.

Forgiving someone is like a crash and burn.
You make a mistake, but you live and you learn.
It's funny how everything you've ever earned,
Can be lost from something as simple as a wrong turn.

Every day, we pray to God, repenting for our sins.
However, to be forgiven is to forgive in the end.
It's like eternal darkness in the basement or the den.
We fight for what we love as the sword is less mightier than the pen.

God knows every move before we make it.
Like a coma, not knowing if you'll ever awaken.
Knowing that the same blessing you prayed for can easily be taken.
Holding your ground even if the world is shaken.

The only thing that prevents forgiveness is anger.
Adding the fact "anger" is only a letter short from "danger".
Sad, but true as we hold on to the ones we love like a wired hangar.
But who knows??? Maybe there are some who aren't gonna give up like an addicted video gamer...
