Forgiveness
we were forever. The promise of eternity ripped from my existence. One mistake drove you away from my love. We were happy, amazing even flawless together, I don't understand were we went wrong. All you had to do was tell me, confess to me but you strayed away. Abandoned me to a reckless world. I could have forgiven you long ago to those years when you left. I could never hate you if that's what you worried I might think. When you left me in brokenness and proverty, when the solider knocked on my door informing me you had deceased in war, I fell to knees and blocked the world. I hated death and war. When I seen you decades later walking down the crowded streets. My heart stretched out to reach you, never once hated you for lieing but loving because you were alive. But then you hugged a little girl calling you daddy. I doubted if you loved me but never hated you then. She seemed about 11, just those many years ago you left. I didn't apporach you because my restless heart could have never bare the pain to see you walking from the dead. I would never hate you because you showed me the world in your eyes. I forgive you for any trespass you caused me because you showed me love. Now I'm about to leave this reckless world, I needed to inform you, formally, goodbye, never stopped loving you.
