Forgiveness

What is forgiveness?

Is it keeping calm and not holding a grudge

or is it getting mad and always wanting to judge

Should we forgive those who have done us wrong

or should we keep it in and let this prolong

should we pray and ask God to help that person

or should we take it in and let it worsen

Should we curse each other and kill one another

or should we forgive and just live.

<p>My name is Leah Taffe AKA Laffey Taffey. I have been writing poetry since last year, I started it when my 10th grade English teacher assigned a poetic project. At the time I was annoyed by it but looking back now, I'm glad she assigned that project to us because I would have never known how poetic and word spoken I am. My poem above is about Forgiveness and how everyone should learn to forgive no matter how hard it is. The bible says "70 times 7" is how many times we should forgive. Because if humans don't forgive each other for the wrong they've done, God will not forgive us for our sins that we committ everyday. I hope to one day publish my poems, for the world to see. </p>
