Forgiveness

Dear Josh,

You don’t know it yet. But soon you will regret how you treated our friendship

I just want you to know that I forgive you though.

I forgive you for the mind games you played and for the lying and calling me a hoe and a tease

I forgive you for getting mad that I didn’t want to be more than friends

I forgive you for insulting my friends and family

I forgive you for pointing out my flaws and mistakes

I forgive you for making me the bad guy to your family

And for texting me rude things but act as if nothing was wrong in person

And I forgive myself for keeping the friendship for as long as I did

I was young and didn’t know any better.

It was fun when we were little, but as we got older and lost the innocence, it was all over.

I wish you well in life.

Sincerely,

Your friend for 9 years,

Morgan

I wrote about this because it has been lingering with me for quite sometime. I hope other girls can read this and realize that if they have the same "friendship", they need to know it's not healthy and it's not their fault. The boy treated me bad and I finally ended it and have been much happier ever since.
