Forgiveness

Forgiveness is not an outside force

One must go within

There is a mandala of spirits intertwined within you

You are made up of all those before you

You are a part of what is yet to come

Grab hold of your ribs

Rip them apart

And let your soul sit

Let trauma and guilt fall into your soul

Close your ribs back around that struggle

Place the bones back

One at a time

Breathe deep and allow yourself to ruminate on the trauma that taunts you

The past and future are fueling your fight

You will triumph

We are all in there with you

Swimming

Drowning

Splashing for salvation

Beneath your shaking ribs
