Forgiveness

We know virtue of travelling light, let's practice that in life too Lesser the baggage we carry with us better is our journey Oftentimes we get hurt badly by those we loved and cared for Pains inflicted by our nears and dears is never easy to forget How bruised and let down we all feel when that happens Some of us may think of returning the favour at opportune time If that's what you too think, it's time to stop, wait, and then act Vengeance never a cure for soul, on contrary it turns all of us sadder Why not do something that makes us happier, calmer and bigger Such a simple word, forgiveness, never easy to practice Forgiveness is the true catharsis we can all gift to ourselves Who says forgiveness is a sign of weakness, it's the only act of Godliness
