Forgone Friend

Rushing, bustling, to and fro, never stop never see, who are you standing next to me? You too going on with the flow, living your life, toiling in strife. Are you friend or are you foe? I never come near, I don't talk out of fear. I want to know, what is your name? I can't ask out of shame. So knowing you I forgo. I seeyou every day, yet I look the other way. So, away I let you go, and someone else takes your place, and soon I forget your face. A new person to get to know, and yet like you, I never do.
