Forgotten

Be there for them Whoever it be, be there It hurts to sit and remember.. I stood by and helped you, and tried to stop you from your greatest falls. But what we knew as familiar is long past and not even recognition. What happened to this? Was it all too much, but I wasn't enough? Or did one of us just forget to keep up? I would love to take the fall but that feeling isn't mutual. I'm afraid I've been forgotten and you've moved on to other things. I wish I could be as good a friend as the drugs but I'm not as readily available. And you don't know how many emotions I've had to erase and how many truths I have to face when I still want this friendship so desperately.

I'm a senior at Van Horn in Independence, MO. I have very strong beliefs on bullying, suicide prevention, respect for others, and being open/honest. My work's very jumbled sometimes but sometimes that's just how it comes out!
