Forgotten
(poems go here) "She lays there, hoping, wondering when her fairy tale ending would come. Hopefully someday, the tears would stop. The Pain would leave, and life would start again. Time, after time, day after day, the struggle continues. Her heart is wandering, her mind is lost, hoping to find reconciliation from another.
Life has a way of turning her down, stopping her, preventing her from walking.
Time after time, she wonders if it will ever be safe.
A soft comfort awakens her,
the still small voice of a child.
She looks up and thinks 'perhaps there is good in the world'
Innocent eyes reflecting back, eyes that have not seen the wicked world.
She smiles and lays her head back down.
Her heart is content and peaceful. Perhaps there is a chance.
