Forgotten Forest

Too much life, they say

For corners are closing in on us

We sway from here to there

We don't want to fuss

We just want to speak our minds

without seeing the other kinds betray us

We want to show our colors

But everything is a blur

We can't see our way

so we lay in motion

on lucid ground

We light up our imagination in our own worlds

Hoping to be embraced by meaningless arms

for we are indeed forgotten.
