Forgotten love

Dear Forgotten,

Thank you for not talking

When I needed you the most,

You always left me hanging

The moment I felt lost,

Everyday I longed for you to show

But never did I see your face,

Everyday that you weren't there

I began to breath a little more,

For the sight of your face

And the sound of your laughter

Left me feeling sick,

But I don't think I would ever call that love.

So thank you for being nothing more

Than a face that can be forgotten,

A voice that's just a breeze,

And a friend that was never meant to be.

Thank you for never being what I wanted

But letting me learn the lession,

That love may be love,

But definitely not with you.
