Forgotten Notions

How could we forget?

How could we let those words break us like they broke others before?

Why do we continue to make the same mistakes and never learn?

Forever is long, words unsaid, feelings unfelt, and actions undevised we are who we are.

It is us who can change, who can evolve and determine the fates.

So why do we hurt the innocent and condemn those who are undeserving?

Change the tides, control the waves, and remember the past from which we descend.

How can we forget, when we are constantly reminded?

You can't, but you can prentend to be blind, to be ignorant, to ignore, to hate.

That gets us no further than we started.

So lets stop pretending and move forward.
