The forgotten ones

In this callous society,

we forget of the importance of giving back.

We leave everything behind,

caring only of our success.

We move forward.

As humanity left the pastoral,

we leave individuals in need.

Society forgets.

Meanwhile,

those in need can only admire other’s success.

In the process, they forget their dreams.

It becomes a cycle;

we forget about them

and they forget their dreams.

It is time for adjustment,

this society must relearn

It must realize the importance of helping others
