A Forgotten Piece
A small village
Cozy
Peaceful
Barely half-a-hundred souls
Set on a hill
On the bank of a river
Beautiful
Yet it had one flaw
It was on the border
Now all thats left
Is a flat stretch of cratered mud
Forgotten
With no living souls
