The Forgotten Planet

bright

too bright some might say

i still orbit around her

even though im the farthest from her

i still rotate around her

but the others are faster than i

they move quicker and give her more

i’m trying

i try to move faster

i hope she sees me

i know im slow

i know im small

she cant even see me

but she still shines on me

as far as i am

she still puts light on me

nobody else even bats an eye

but she never forgets me

she never did

its hard out here

deep in space

forgotten…
