Forgotten Queen

Forgotten Queen

Life seems at one point

As beautiful as a golden sun

But then it seems to disappoint

When bleakness stuns

You, my forgotten queen

You were once my bright stars

And I your faithful moon

The world was gifted ours

But you left us too soon

So sat with our son

Under the wounded sky

And told him what you’d done

And we sat and cried

For though you saved us all

You left us completely begalled
