The Forgotten Teacher

It consumes you with a force that pulls the air out of your lungs

Painful yet necessary

Hard but must be done

They say love is the greatest teacher but have they not seen the aftermath?

Have they not seen the tears?

Felt the hardship of a lonely night?

We romanticize the idea of falling but forget the most important part:

The toll it takes on mind, soul, and heart

Because when a relationship is worn by petty arguements and loss of value

The farbric of what was once beautiful frays,

Unravels to show the mistakes of the past and lessons to be learned
