Forgotten Wishes

Wed, 11/04/2015 - 09:08 -- parivia

Incandescent ripples

spreading out into a halo that surrounds the reflection of something marvelous,

all you have to do is glance.

pennies drop and shift side to side slowly dancing to the bottom.

the sun knives the water, leaving behind a blinding scar.

a hand reaches in, grabbing for the luck that is always just out of reach.
