Formation of Chaos

At the beginning there is an outpouring of clear bright light And the path on which to flow is clearly seen and easily discerned Two winds with dissimilar temperatures and temperaments attempt to cohabitate peaceably All is well for a time but soon the winds begin to shift Restlessness develops Let’s get along for the sake of those underneath us But soon disagreements arise and uproar begins You promised you would not do that again! And you’re different than when we first began! The two once peaceful winds begin swirling around Then they clash and invade each other’s comfort zones After all their bickering and exchange of words of disapproval and disgust, The winds begin a brawl in the heavens Violence culminates in rain Earth beneath begins to flood with their tears The lightning produced is as bright as the sun and as precise as a sniper’s bullet The disharmony they create is experienced in the atmosphere below them, They tear houses, They flip cars, And they rip peaceful flowers from their stationary pots At last, one of the winds exhales a cool breath Cutting off the warm air that feeds the tempest formed by their anger What was once intense between the winds has simmered down They flee from one another knowing that there can never be mutual peace between them Harmony is only present when the other wind is absent Like spiritual and secular philosophies, they can coexist but never wholly mix Meanwhile, the inhabitants underneath rejoice Accepting the limitations of the winds liaison Thankful that the storm is over And that the sun can shine through again, uninterrupted
