Formulaic

the professor says that writing has formulas.
I don't hate math (it's like a puzzle) but if it's so
that writing has formulas then I suppose that I
twist and stretch and snap them in two
tear off the meat and leave it for the crows.

Then I crunch on the broken bones,
the troll in the back of the room.
