Forsaken Path

Talking all around, Murmuring fills the head with voices one cannot hear Questions fill the head Is this the life I choose to live? Talking all around Be someone prodigious Forgot who you want to become But be someone society would want you to be Is this the life I choose to live? Talking all around, Do I fade into those I wish to be apprized by? I will turn around and follow a forsaken path Is this the life I chose to live? Talking all around, I aspire far beyond the sunset Dreams to be accomplished But it is like we are all on set We aspire to be someone Not someone we our self’s would honor So we give in and play the role of society Is this the life I will choose to live? No. I will follow the forsaken path
