The Forsaken Rose

In April, the sky begins to rumble While millions of flowers begin their travel Up above the ground trying not to stumble They reach the top and begin to unravel. Out blossoms a rose different from all the flowers. It surpasses the others by swerving up the fence. Its roots exhausted get catered by showers. As it reaches the top, its leaves begin to tense. Fully grown, absorbing up the sun, It mocks the others by jabbing out its thorns. Little does it know its time is almost done. The storm above it surly warns. Out whirled a tornado so strong in power. A strong gust of wind was all it took, It was all the flower's last hour. There home was suddenly taken by a crook. There was no way they could survive, But there was a lesson learned. That rose wanted to be different that was its strive. It turns out the rose was just adjourned.
