Forward

In the beginning, there was darkness. There was no room for sense, No room for differences. But one day, a light suddenly appeared. There was laughter and tears, Celebration and mourning, The fallen and risen, But through it all, there was progress. From the negative came the positive, From the past, the future. And though we might not be where we to be, We must stand Run Fight Sweat Bleed Until there's nothing left Except Love, Peace, and Understanding.

I love how this poem sends a message of hope and progress, and how eventually, we can all learn to love and understand one another. Very inspirational! Have you ever written a Ballad poem? Check out how and more in the "Resources" section.
