Forwards, Endlessly

There is a freedom

Every day

Every hour

The mind wishes to reach

There is a horizon

Golden

Always moving forwards

The body yearns to touch

There is a place in the sky

Hiding behind a cloud

Bashful and fleeting

The spirit longs to float towards

There is a path

Full of bumps

Shadows

Troubles and Tears

This path

Also has a view

Of a golden horizon

And a deep blue sky

The horizon keeps moving

And the sky's vastness never wavers

But I keep walking

Forwards, endlessly

Because one day I will turn around

And know how far I have come
