Foster Home
I sit on the floor as
I cry
I wonder why is this happening
I don't want a new "mom"
or "dad"
My foster parents
say they love me
I think I love them too
How can I love these people
The government took me away
from my family
How can I love these people
I am forced to live with
I love them
I know why
They love me back
They care
and want me to get home
I understand now
I am very loved
by my parents
and my foster parents
