Foster they say pt.1

Foster it seems they continue to chant

foster it seems its tattoed to my face

foster they say over and over like a broken record

foster they said throwing sand into my glossy eyes making it unclear to see

foster they say as if that word makes me less of a human

foster they laugh again but this time i laugh with them

how crule the world can be to a soul that has already had more pain than they should have

foster they say not seeing all the scars they have on their heart

foster the court says not wanting to change their lable

foster everyone says waiting to see them break

foster "of course their is something wrong with them" after all they are a foster

foster never allowed to have a say in their lives

foster they say not thinking of how they feel

foster they say choosing not to hear their crys

foster they chant again laughing along the way

the word falls from others lips so carlessly
