Found and Lost

I have waited all of my life for someone like you I love all of the cute and funny things that you do But my time is running out here, just as I was getting to know you Saying goodbye to you is something that I don’t want to do Found and Lost, forces beyond my control are pulling me away from you Found and Lost, I wish somehow I could see this love through Found and Lost, this is going to be hard because I think you love me too Found and Lost, when it comes time for me to leave I am really going to miss you I wish we had the time to get to know each other more I know there are more things that you have for me in store But the closer I get to you, other forces are starting to pull me away And the further I get away from you, the more my heart will break Found and Lost, I wish there was some way, I could take you with me Found and Lost, but us being together just seems like another lost dream Found and Lost, there is so little time to say everything I wanted to say Found and Lost, it’s sad to find a love this special and have it taken away I wish we could have met each other at a different time You could have been the great love of my life But just like so many times before this too was never meant to be And having to say goodbye to you will be really hard for me Found and Lost, you’re the only reason I want to stay Found and Lost, from everything else I want to run far away Found and Lost, I wish that there was someway I could stay Found and Lost, it’s sad to find a love this special and have it taken away From Rhymes With A Reason Copyright 2018 Resisting Distress Publishing
