Found someone new NOT you (Sonnet)

Happiness is all I ever wanted But loving you is like a dying weed The actions that you portrayed assaulted The way you talk to me can only feed The hatred I once felt for you is gone In my search I have found somebody new Who handles me like a delicate fawn When I am sick makes the best chicken stew I would always love this guy more than you Even though you once treated me so good Just thinking about it makes me feel blue I don't know how I managed and withstood But it's okay though because I fought through And I have found somebody new NOT you ~D'Asia Hayes-Bunting
