Found a Way

For years i've searched for a way to get out,

Maybe ill do like the other birds do and head South,

From place to place i go figuring out what lifes about,

Thoughts dripping out of my head like a leaky water spout,

But these dripping thoughts, you see..they will never dry,

They've collected in one place, a puddle, that's knee high,

I became overwhelmed, this puddle now absorbing my energy and life,

Consumed by the worries and the pain,

I let my black ink pen take them away,

This puddle now dry transferred to wet ink on this blank paper,

Life's a female dog and it takes the ones you love not to hate her,

I found what i needed, all my doubts now depleted,

I write down all my worries, and they dissapear as i read them,

I stopped clipping the branches, went straight for the root and the stem,

I express all my worries, and they dissapear as you read them,

I found my way!
