Four

I always pride myself on the fact that you were the first one I could not get upset with.

I don’t know if it’s the different stages of our lives.

I don’t know if it’s the 1112.8 miles between us.

I don’t know if it’s the fact that it took you months to tell me what you’d done.

I don’t if it’s because it happened in the first place.

Everyone told me I was a better person than you for giving you another chance.

Everyone said I was naïve.

But they didn’t know what we had.

Now that I think of it, I guess you didn’t know either.

You think everything is fine,

But it’s not.

I’m so scared that I’m starting to get upset with you.

Then what do we have?
