Four Corners

Feeling helpless

Against the wall

Someone please show me

How to stop this fall

Seeing blind

Trapped for so long

I just don’t know

What I did wrong

This prison which

You helped me build

Won’t help me from

Feeling so unfulfilled

Even after it all

Why can’t you see

I need something more

Than what you can give me

This is my decision

It’s all up to me

Because inside these walls

I feel far from free

Swallowed the key

A long time ago

Little did I know there

Was no room to grow

Drowning above water

Air wrapped tight

I always feel

So far away from light

Where can I go

Anywhere but here

Knock down a wall

And just disappear

I never meant for this

To end this way

And get lost

Somewhere in the gray

For little did I know

What lay outside

The possibilities that

You couldn’t provide
