four days

Day one I kissed you for the first time.

It was soft like your skin.

Day two you wrapped you arms around as we watched to sky catch fire.

Your grasp was tight like you would never let go.

Day three we let the waves crash against our bodies.

You kissed me with pride as the sand shifted under feet.

Day four I died a little before I went on my way.

My body have drove away in that car but my mind and heart refused to leave.

I long for your touch everyday.

I never imagined I could hurt so bad.

One thing I know, those four days will NEVER fade.
